TRENTON The month-long controversy over Gov. Chris Christies decision to replace Supreme Court Justice John Wallace took a new turn today.
Christie, who has faced a series of rebukes from critics who say the move jeopardizes the independence of the Judiciary, lost the services of a state advisory panel today after its members resigned in protest. Previous coverage:

you had it right the first time
This may be an excellent opportunity to abolish the whole commission. The legislature may be more willing to “save the money” than to allow the Gov. to appoint conservatives.
LOL!
Replace them all! The State of New Jersey and all of us will be the better for it!
:)
LOLOL....just love those temper tantrums from the lefties.
Setting a fine example for our children.
Gov. Christie definitely deserves A Big Atta Boy: an elected official that actually does what he says he will. Wow. Impressive.
“Entire N.J. judicial panel resigns to protest Gov. Christie’s non-tenure of Justice Wallace”
YIPPEE! They actually think they are making a statement! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Somewhere, Fiorello LaGuardia is laughing uproariously and saying, "Now stick to 'em good, Chris! Take away their money and power!"
Wow! What a jack pot! The commies are going ballastic.
Sounds like a YEAH!!! is in order!!!!
Christie is looking like a serious Presidential contender (and this coming from a Hoosier that thought there was very little good left in NJ)..
The Judicial Advisory Panel was and IS A SCAM to pack the NJ Supreme Court, it is as bad or worse than FDR’s move to increase the numbers of US Supreme Court Justices.
Everyone involved with the inception of the Judicial Advisory Panel knew this before the bill was passed out of committee, Corzine knew this would be his lasting legacy to permanently pack the NJ Supreme Court, the activist majority of NJ’s legal field professionals damn well knew this from the start.
Anyone who is claiming otherwise is either lying to your face or is a johnny-come-lately idiot.

Money not spent on crap like an “advisory panel” is good news for NJ taxpayers.
What is this “Judicial Advisory Panel”. It sounds like a waste of air that does nothing more than chew through tax dollars. Better to let Christie get “advice” from people who can be trusted - - his own people.
Why replace them? (See below.)
Former Gov. Jon Corzine created the Judicial Advisory Panel with an executive order in 2006 to help vet Superior Court nominees, then appointed all the members who resigned today.
This stinking "panel" has only been around since 2006, and it's all activist/socialist liberal scumbags appointed by Corzine. Christie should just let it be over and done with. Forget about it. Or, appoint a bunch of Federalist Society types, just to screw with the activist/socialist liberal scumbags' heads.
