What was even worse to me, though, was that BEFORE THE DOCTOR PHIL SHOW, whenever anyone posed the idea of sexual slavery with her mom Beth Twitty, Beth would say -in essence- NO, I KNOW SHE'S DEAD AND I HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT.
That would just blow me away. There is NO way that I'd ever accept that a blood relative was dead - when NO body had been found. But... as they say, "To each, their own."
I believe that during one interview that Beth mentioned that the FBI had emphatically told her that they believed that Natalee was dead. HOWEVER, whenever one reads about sexual slavery and dungeon brothels, the idea that NH might be being held against her will -- it makes perfect logical sense.
Who'd have thought that these staunch supporters of Joran would pay any attention to his second murder?
I do believe that within every lie are small facts, or truth which is a form of “liars glue”. (We saw that with Casey Anthony and Drew Peterson.)
e.g. In every version of Natalee’s demise, Joran always mentions disposing of her (or her body) in the ocean, from a boat and with help from another man.

Unless they found a body, I always believed in the possiblity. Remember that mystery guy from Aruba who talked in codes? All his messages indicated that Natalee was drugged and sold into the sex slave business. Some people speculate that she’s in Argentina.

If I were Beth Twitty, I’m not sure I could bear the thought that she might be in sexual slavery somewhere. It might be preferable for her to believe that Natalie is dead.
