>>> "...he might even be gay..." <<<

Interesting, and it might explain why he'd be able to establish her trust, enough to get her to come to his hotel room. I still don't believe that he planned to murder her, but that doesn't mean that I don't believe that he's a sadistic narcissistic psychopath.

It is curious that he allegedly had date rape pills with him --- makes you wonder if he's downright scared of girls. Seriously, how many guys HAVE to have an unconscious woman in order to become aroused????

An Orwellian trick - it can be used to incapacitate a victim for any purpose: robbery, abduction etc., not just sexual advantage.

Why is Rohypnol called the “date rape drug”?

Rohypnol has been associated with date rape, and has also been called the “Forget Pill,” “Trip-and-Fall,” and “Mind-Erasers.” In combination with alcohol, it can induce a blackout with memory loss and a decrease in resistance. Girls and women around the country have reported being raped after being involuntarily sedated with Rohypnol, which was often slipped into their drink by an attacker. The drug has no taste or odor so the victims don’t realize what is happening. About ten minutes after ingesting the drug, the woman may feel dizzy and disoriented, simultaneously too hot and too cold, or nauseated. She may experience difficulty speaking and moving, and then pass out. Such victims have no memories of what happened while under the drug’s influence.

"I still don't believe that he planned to murder her, but that doesn't mean that I don't believe that he's a sadistic narcissistic psychopath."

I suspect he lured her to his hotel room either by drugging her or promising her something.

But Joran KNEW she had 5,000 on her and he needed money. So what happened is left to anyone's vivid imagination.

You can bet he's got a whooper to tell. The first one will be "I found her dead and ran because I knew no one would believe me".

Hope she has his DNA under her fingernails.
