I believe this magnifies their pain. They can feel no glee in being able to say, “See, we told you!” when another young life has been taken. Their hearts must be breaking for yet anther family that has to go through the nightmare that they have had to endure.
I agree with you, I can't begin to imagine what angst they feel that tragedy has struck the Flores family in Peru via the psychopath they tried to have convicted for the murder of their own daughter. My heart goes out the family & friends of NH, what unbearable sorrow they must feel again.
