At this point, I don’t see what’s wrong with asking anyone that has had any experience doing big projects underwater, to pitch in. Outside of the oil companies, I can’t think of many that have any experience doing large undersea projects. Does anyone know of any other agency or organisation that has any experience like this, that hasn’t been approached for help?

So....you REALLY think a Hollywood producer/director..has any clue about fixing a leak...that the EXPERTS are having problems with?

Because BP ALREADY has enough cameras 5,000 feet below without having an egotistic, control freak fouling up the repair process. You can't just yell cut or use CGI blue screens to fix this problem. Whatever technology Cameron could bring to the table is 15 years out of date.
This is just a publicity stunt by Obama and crew to cover their own incompetence.
