the LEGALITY of Israel boarding & inspecting ships in international waters??

How is what Israel doing any different from what the US Coast Guard does every day? If the boats do not heave to and permit inspection. The Coasties open fire.

No different, I didn't mean to imply that. I'm surprised, however, how many freepers keep posting that Israel was in international waters, acting illegally, behaving like pirates, ETC.

It's quite extraordinary that only few seem to have any idea that both Israel & Egypt have had a Gaza blockade for a long time now, and that it is ENTIRELY LEGAL for Israel to board & inspect ships who intend to break the blockade.
