I heard yesterday that BP had reported major problems with this well a month before the explosion.

From the drilling reports I have seen, they had problems from the get go. I have 30 years in oilfield wireline experience and still can't wrap my mind around some of the mistakes they made. Some people with BP need to go to jail and some people in the government's MM division also need to go to jail.
