Today James OKeefe and I had the privilege to go on ABC News Good Morning America to launch OKeefes new set of undercover videos the Census. While most of the feedback email of the contentious segment is running negative against George Stephanopoulos for emphasizing long debunked and retracted smears and for using the word criminal throughout the piece, what is missing is an acknowledgment of how courageous Stephanopoulos was to put OKeefe and me on the air in the first place.ABC NEWS and Stephanopoulos are not immune from partisan propaganda campaigns to ignore points of view

...an acknowledgment of how courageous Stephanopoulos was to put OKeefe and me on the air in the first place OK - it took courage. But members of the MSM who don't throw a few bones to their viewers are going under. So it was courage - but it was also a logical bid for credibility and ratings - for ABC and for Stephanopoulos...

I don’t think it was any great act of courage or integrity on G.S’s part, but Breitbart is smart enough to butter him with bulls**t so he has access to him and the MSM megaphone.

I saw the interview this morning. Stephanopoulos was an ass, but O'Keefe handled himself well, as did Breitbart. The only thing I wish Breitbart had added, would be to point out O'Keefe is only doing what television journalists used to do. I grew up watching Morley Safer and Mike Wallace use hidden cameras on 60 minutes. I don't recall if Geraldo used hidden cameras in his 20/20 days, but those were the days of hard-hitting investigative journalism.

It took NO courage at all... It was the left’s story of the week and he ran with it. I’m sure that he hoped for another leftist victory with his show. Too bad for him that James did not provide him with his win...

an acknowledgment of how courageous Stephanopoulos was to put OKeefe and me on the air in the first place Stephanopoulos may have some input into who goes on the show but for the most part I think the producers call the shots.

Don’t trust anything the MSM does or says. Isn’t he part of the little group that has morning telephone conversations?

George,
You surprised me with real courage; being willing to buck the system and insist on allowing a controversial interview on national TV. My hat's off to you on this one.

O’Keefe gets scolded for a misdemeanor while George would kiss the ass of Daniel Ellsberg.
