I have seen a lot of self-loathing among the Jews, especially those from the NE US where journalists are known to congregate. I am not sure where it comes from. I am going to guess it has to do with upbringing.

Sent the following email addressed to the Turkish Embassy Washington DC at contact@turkishembassy.org: As an American citizen and as a non-Jew I am disgusted with the Turkish government's attack upon Israel and support for the terrorist government of Hamas. Since the Turkish government is leading the charge against Israel, I object most strenuously to the continued presence of Turkish Embassy staff on American soil. I want you all out of my country immediately. Unfortunately, no one in the White House or at the State Department has the guts to kick you the hell out of Washington and New York. Diplomat or no diplomat, if I was in office you would all have been packed onto a C-130 transport by now, hands tied behind your backs, red-eyeing it straight back to Istanbul. And any U.S. government lawyer who objected to my decision on legal grounds would be accompanying you on the flight. You can file your objection with the United Nations after you get home.
