Re Obama and his administration, the RJC said:

"...We urge the Obama administration to make it clear that it will veto any condemnation of Israel's actions in this matter in the UN Security Council.

"The President tells us he is a reliable friend of Israel. At a moment like this, a friend's responsibility is clear. This is no time to make demands of Israel. At a moment like this, a true friend stands with Israel."
