I am making progress on your book “Initial Points In Politics”.

So, YOU'RE the person who bought that book last week! ;^)

That’s wonderful! Thank you Grammy!

I have been away for a while and didn’t see your post until now, so I’m late to the party too. ;)

Reading thru this thread tonight with thanks to saveliberty and dmd25 for your kind words. But your post Foxy really brought me to tears. I think it was that “finally” or probably that “we sent Bahbah ahead to guide the way.” This is a thread to read daily, Tony’s incredible words—what a gift he had! You’re right, he truly was a Renaissance Man who was sent here for such a short time to be an inspiration to all. Everything a man, husband, father, son, friend should be. Most of all I miss that wonderful voice! Omigosh, to think just the memory of it could give goosebumps to a grandmother who will celebrate double 7’s too soon! Tony truly was a gift to all of us. I can’t even begin to imagine how much his family must miss him

Oh wow, GoldwaterChick! Thank you so much for such a lovely post!

(((Hugs)))

I miss Bahbah and my heart aches when I see her name.

Yes, that would be me! And I thought I was buying a book full of your sports photographs, especially the women's basketball team. Kind of your version of the Sports Illustrated bathing suit edition. Instead, I found a political book and I was forced to learn. [And, it didn't even have a centerfold! Rats.]

I only lurked on the morning threads, but loved the camaraderie that surrounded Tony’s show.

Grammy you should have joined in, we could have used some senior wisdom on occasion. But, glad you have joined in now.

Tarheel is on the mend. She was suffering from some kind of vertigo, perhaps caused by a sinus infection. Anyway, the doc gave her some pills that help, but she is sleeping 12 hrs at a pop. Gee, I can do that and don't even need the pills to do it.

I thought only blonds were dizzy? Although you, saveliberty, achieved your dizziness medically. 8)

Hi, G-Chick. Yes, many Tony memories and photos in this Thread and I hope to reread it next weekend. And you are right about Tony's voice. I think everyone listening to his radio show felt like he was talking directly to her/him.

Happy double 7 birthday. My next will be a 70!

I am glad that Tarheel is doing better, Foxy! Vertigo can be debilitating.

You’re just a kid, Foxy! I have over a month to go. I still feel 21 inside tho and try to do everything I did then! :) Sometimes it gets me in trouble!

This thread definitely is a keeper. I’ve been in love with Tony Snow since I heard him talking about how he and his wife walked their oldest to school on the first day, pulling a wagon along behind them with their younger child in it. He was just too good to stay long on this earth!
