UN Urges Inquiry Into Israel Convoy Raid 1 June 2010

The UN Security Council has issued a statement calling for an impartial inquiry into Israel's raid on a flotilla of Gaza-bound aid ships. The statement said the inquiry should be "prompt, impartial, credible and transparent". The statement was reached after hours of discussion as the council deliberated through the night.
At least nine activists were killed when Israeli commandos stormed the ships in international waters. Turkey was reluctant to water down its trenchant criticism of Israel while the United States, Israel's closest ally, wanted to temper the language used, says BBC UN correspondent Barbara Plett.
The Security Council requested the immediate release of the ships as well as the civilians held by Israel. Earlier, Turkey's foreign minister called Israel's actions "murder by a state". Israel's UN envoy said troops acted in self-defence when activists attacked them, charges the campaigners deny.

That’s a laugh. When was the last time any UN inquiry into anything regarding Israel and the Palis was concluded in Israel’s favor.
Indeed. A strongly-worded letter to Israel is needed. That will fix everything.

My letter would say-
Dear IDF,
You did good. But next time leave the paintball rifles for playtime and bring fully loaded rifles with REAL AMMO so you will be prepared next time.

Paintball guns. Israelis did not want to use lethal force. They were obviously forced to use lethal force after the occupants tried to take the IDF’s weapons away.
The UN knows this video will be shown worldwide.
They had no choice but to ask for an impartial inquiry rather than their planned BLAME ISRAEL on all counts.
Even CNN is backpedaling now that it's obvious that many millions are seeing the honest factual videos online.

I will LISTEN to some news on the radio, but TV is indefinitely quarantined --- I'm not letting all that blatant antisemitic hate & bigotry enter my home via the cable.
I turned the TV on because a freeper posted that CNN was reporting honestly about what happened.
Of course, I went to FR first only to be disappointed.
I won't turn on the TV news for a long time, I can't take it, the antisemitism is just gross.
