I agree. I just heard the claim that Israel commandos were firing into the crowded decks as they descended...of course, I was shocked by this report. Later I found out that they were armed only with paint guns, and real sidearms.

But still, even if they had been simply firing paint pellets, how were the people on the boats supposed to know that?

But wait a minute; now I am listening to Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal broadcasting on the deck of one of the lead ships, describing the descending commandos. Clike here to see the video. He never once mentions the fact that they were firing their weapons as they were being lowered onto the deck. How could he have possibly missed that?
