Out of curiosity, how do you define a ‘traditionalist liberal’?

Third Way liberals, Obama and Kagan included, believe that if you just “incentivize” people, they won’t see their underlying conflicts and try to resolve them.
As a traditionalist, I believe that the racial, religious and class conflicts of our society have not been resolved.
I have no desire to be incentivized.
I will not co-opt conservative solutions and then call them my own.
In other words, a traditional liberal has the capacity to think for him/herself.
A Third Way liberal co-opts right wing solutions and then calls them “mainstream”. In other words, a Third Way liberal is a liar.
