Civilian deaths benefit Hamas and the left, not Israel. Israel could have sunk the ships, instead it tried to board them with a minimum of casualties. If you watched the videos, you would see the Jihadis, communists and anarchists attacking the Israelis. At some point, when shot at and hit with pipes, the Israelis responded to deadly violence with extreme restraint. The Jihadi-left alliance created an incident and idiots fell for it.
