That was your statement that I was referring to. You said that they committed a crime regardless of if it was on the books or not. You cant break a law that doesnt exist.
If you think stripping should be a crime, then try to outlaw it. If you think college students hiring strippers for a party will lead them to being Marxists, then try to outlaw it. But these kids did nothing wrong legally.
Look up the Communist Party USA agenda reported in 1963:

Our enemies know how effective a debased moral culture is as a recruiting ground for those seek some kind of moral anchor.
The Marxists know it and have implemented it exceedingly well over the past two generations on college campuses. Mark the changeover to roughly 1970, a few years sooner or later depending on region.
The fundy Islamicists know it too, and are exploiting it to recruit the morally disenfranchised.
The cults that hang around college campuses have also exploited such cultural moral failings, persistently.
