Arpaio Makes the Hulk an Honorary Deputy

PHOENIX - There was a celebrity sighting at the 4th Ave Jail Friday. Lou Ferrigno, best known for playing the original Incredible Hulk, was sworn in as an honorary deputy.
Ferrigno is a big supporter of Sheriff Joe and SB 1070. He lives in California and says he knows first-hand the problems associated with illegal immigration there.
The famous bodybuilder will also be attending the Comicon conference in downtown Phoenix.

Looks like Lou has held up a lot better than Arnold. Lou is in incredible shape for being 59. Heck, he’s in incredible shape for being thirty, but he actually is 59.

Have you ever noticed that conservative celebrities—not necessary republicans—are also male action heroes? Bruce, The Hulk, The Rock, Sly, Chuck Norris, Chuck Heston, even Arnold—and all the liberal ones are all sensitive new age guys.

Several years ago, we had memberships at Bally Fitness. I was working out on the weight machines one day and suddenly I saw several people following this guy on the machines behind me...it was Lou Ferrigno! He was working for Bally’s ads back then, he waited patiently for me to finish (d’oh, which I did quickly) and was very nice and polite.
I follow Sheriff Joe on Twitter and thought he was joking about bringing the Incredible Hulk tonight. LOL. Could’ve knocked me over with a feather when I saw Lou and his Mrs. on the ustream feed! :-) And he STILL looks great, 30 years after the Hulk! Wow!
