While we are waiting to get the leak stopped, why are they not sucking up the oil laden seawater as close to the leak as possible and putting it in tankers? They are collecting about 200 barrels a day from the endcap leak.

Yes, but I mean several tankers all pumping at once. Seems to me they could capture a lot more oil than they are; a whole lot more.

They need to hook up as many hoses as possible to the BOP at the ports where they are injecting mud and pump oil/gas instead.

Is oil mixed with sea water useless? Or can it still be cracked? Maybe a financial incentive?
