RUSH: Let's get this out of the way. This is last Sunday, New Haven. Clinton did the commencement address at Yale. Here is a portion of what he said.
CLINTON: Hawaii, the state where President Obama has born, has done everything they can to debunk this myth that he wasn't born in America. They've done everything but blow up his birth certificate, but it in neon lights and hang it on the dome of the Capitol. But 45% of registered Republicans still believe that he is serving unconstitutionally. Why? Because they've been told that by the only place they go to get information.
RUSH: Now, who does he think that is? So Bill Clinton trashing yours truly -- a harmless, lovable little fuzzball here, El Rushbo -- at the Yale commencement address last Sunday. You know, we have not made a big deal about the birth certificate on this program. I've purposely stayed away from it. But I don't believe that they have blown it up and put it in neon lights. I believe the truth is you can't find it, and the governor out there, Linda Lingle, said, "Eh, we're going to stop all these requests to see it."
You left out the one group which tilts elections one way or the other - INDEPENDENTS. Neither hard core left or hard core right.
By continuing to conceal his birth certificate, Obama is LOSING the Independents. They see a problem because everytime they get a drivers license or sign their kid up for some extracurricular activity they have to produce a birth certificate. Trust me I know - my family is filled with independents and most of them are now birthers.
And THAT is not smart politics, no matter how much you may wish it to be so.
A long time ago, many, many moons, the commencement address was supposed to be an address to inspire the new graduates to go forth and become a success with their new knowledge and intellect.
When did it become a podium for a bunch of policicians to trash the other side, to talk about themselves, to blather on about nothing having to do with the graduates.
It happened at West Point, Yale, today Pelosi at Cornell, all across our country.

Show me one poll or study which shows that any significant portion of independents doubt Obama's citizenship or costitutional right to be POTUS - and then I'll believe you.
Clinton will knife that usurper every chance he gets! And in contrast to what the press is always telling us, Bill Clinton is the smartest man in that room for sure. I think the Clintons were outdone in the election because they didn’t realize that Obama is as amoral as they are - now that they have his number: it is on!!!
You have already listed several clues to the fact that the Dems are getting ready to sacrifice the long legged mack daddy and it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Hillary as VP before the end of what would have been Obama’s first term.
Oprah was right about one thing, be careful who you climb over on the way to the top, they’ll be kicking your ass on the way back down.
I and my wife are registered Independents and we’re both very conservative.
There is only one person claiming to have seen the long-form with information & seal that is is not on the form being peddled by Obamah.

I never cared whether this person has a birth certificate or not. He bows to foreign Princes, Prime Ministers, even American mayors. He instinctively recalls 57 states. He doesn’t know what class is, therefore can not recognize it. He has no idea when to salute the flag, nor what respect is for “our” country. I have no reason to suspect he has an American birth certificate, nor that he ever learned American customs, such as Memorial Day. He very obviously hasn’t spent much time in the U.S.

Does anyone else know about this: I was watching O’Reilly awhile back and he is not a Birther and puts them down all the time. He showed why. He showed a newspaper from the year Obama was born, a Honolulu paper, and in the births of new infants section, Obamas birth was there. Bill claims that is why he does not buy into the birther thing. I wonder if anyone can go to the paper of that date and find what Bill showed on his show. Did any of you see that show?

When you read it forget the legal BS “the Constitution didn't define what a natural born citizen was.” The Constitution is a framework which depends upon the language used by its framers, as James Madison told us (see Mark Levin's book Liberty and Tyranny, p39 for the quotation). It has no meaning if new meaning is attributed to terms. Fortunately, ‘natural born citizen’ has never been redefined; Obama honestly told us he was “a native born citizen of the U.S. A native born citizen is a citizen born on our soil, as John McCain wasn't. But John McCain had two citizen parents. Neither McCain nor Obama was eligible, but at least the Democrats investigated McCain - six times and two law suits. That is what Senate Res. 511 was all about.
If you don't trust Leahy, McCaskill, Clinton, or Obama (yes, Obama; they assume we are very stupid)to tell you that you must have two citizen parents to be constitutionally eligible for the presidency, read founder and framer Dr. David Ramsay (find the pointer at puzo1.blogspot.com ) or justice Joseph Story or justice James Kent, or chief justice Morrison Waite in Minor v. Happersett, or former FDR Sec of State Breckenridge Long in Chicago Legal News Volume 49, affirming the Charles Hughes, running against Woodrow Wilson in 1916 was ineligible for having had a British father - just as Obama does. (Sharon Rondeau at Post and Email dug this up).

There are numerous ways that a birth announcement for a foreign born child as well as an HI born child could have been reported to HI vital statistics and/or the newspapers in 1961. This has been extensively discussed in other threads on FR.
A newspaper birth announcement is not legal proof of birth or citizenship in any court. Try to get a driver license with one!
Bill O’Reilly, in my opinion, knows this and is playing dumb (as he often does) for his own reasons. But he did put LTC Lakin and his claim that Obama has not shown his original BC on his show, which certainly doesn't help Obama.
But didn't everyone in the world know he did not have two citizen parents when he was a candidate?
