Expose author Joe McGinniss, whose long-time HQ was Swarthmore, Pa. has moved his base to Wasilla, Alaska right next door to Sarah Palin.
McGinniss was a sportswriter for the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin (the original one), then a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer before hitting the big time in 1969 with the Selling Of The President, which described the marketing techniques used in the successful Nixon campaign the year before. He is best known for his true crime books Fatal Vision, Blind Faith and CruelDoubt, all of which became TV miniseries.
McGinniss generally portrays his subjects rather unflatteringly.
McGinniss, who has written a critical magazine piece on Mrs. Palin, is allegedly writing a book about the former Alaska governor, but perhaps his move to Alaska is really motivated by a desire for peace and privacy. McGinniss has placed "no trespassing" signs all over the rented property and has threatened at least one news crew with arrest after they showed up at his door. The Palins have compassionately erected a 14-foot-high fence between the homes on his behalf.
McGinniss does appear to have a fixation on Mrs. Palin, almost like something of out a Robert Mitchum movie -- think Cape Fear or Night of the Hunter.

A Pa connection ping
The person who rented to this jerk is worse.
It’s a Hillary-style “personalize the attack” intimidation op.
It’s also twisted, hateful and insane - but I already mentioned Hillary.
People go missing and the critters feast.
Ole' Joe may find true peace and quite.
On HIS behalf?
Bear feast still on the leftist hoof ...
Stalker, Joe Mcginniss Interviewed by his biggest fan Dave Weigel
Yes, haven’t you seen his ‘no tresspassing’ signs?
I took this to be tongue in cheek .... as in Sarah is trying to help him with the privacy he seeks.
The Palins are nice people and Joe clearly wants his privacy.
This guy should be on some type of medication that will help him reach adulthood.
A city guy, used to a town like Swarthmore, and the Philadelphia area? I doubt he will make it through the winters in Alaska. Let’s see him try to fit in with the hearty folks there, LOL. Ain’t no WaWa’s or Starbucks on the corner.
He’ll probably be gone once it starts to get cold though.
He has the place for 5 monthes, just till October. However, October in Alaska can be nasty. But anyway the big brave stalker made sure he was going to be quite comfy while he makes the Palins lives very uncomfortable. Any stalker worth his salt would at least spend a winter there just to prove his worth. Cowardly s.o.b.
Talk around town which is a SMALL town is that most people have his mugshot and know him by sight.
I also heard one person say that if it happened to him he would rent a wood chipper machine and fire it up every morning next door to this guy.
Funny thing is its summer in Alaska, daylight is as early as 3am and sunset around midnite and lots of people work building and doing construction 24 hours a day 7 days a week, myself I was delivering concrete last at 7pm here in Wasilla.
Yes, now would be a good time for Todd to get to those much/always-needed engine repairs on the plane. And it’s always a good idea to double-check one’s work as often as possible.
