For journalists, hate mail comes with the territory. And it can come at any moment, with critics instantly shooting off emails when someone ticks them off on a blog or on the air.
Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has surely received audience complaints before but a recent email exchange irked her enough to take issue with it on her own blog. And in a move that Fox executives probably would have tried to discourage had they been consulted, Van Susteren also urged her blog readers to weigh in on the central point raised by her correspondent: that she is, well, rather dimly lit.

While I am unfamiliar with the other shows, I agree about him stealing from Mark Levin.
I don’t care so much that he didn’t go to college; I couldn’t either, for family financial reasons.
Nevertheless, I am self-taught because I am a 12-step addicted reader. My sweetie has a BA from IA and a MS from the University of Chicago, yet he claims I’m the smartest person he has ever known. I don’t believe that, of course, but I think his point is that it is foolish to judge people without the facts.
That said, the fact that GB does not credit those he has clearly taken facts from, is one of the reasons I’m agnostic about him.
And it’s getting worse! Just as Mark Levin is stating his facts, and telling the “backbenchers” to take notes for the next day, GB is copying Levin’s very style!
I now see he is telling “those” to pay attention and take notes over what he is about to say, because they will be saying it tomorrow. WOW. That’s almost word for word that Levin says.
This is why I claim agnoticism on GB. While he does much good work, his ego is too big to credit others with things they have uncovered or explained.
One thing I’ve learned in my life is the bigger the ego, the smaller the person.
I find it extraordinary that he earns 62 million dollars a year with such a repulsive schtick.
That’s pretty funny. Greta does talk pretty funny. Palin is more grating than Greta, though. One thing about Greta, just as an aside—supposedly she’s tiny. I never picture her that way but she is not of tall stature physically. She’s little.
She and her husband are scientologists. That alone raises a couple of doubts in my mind. Sometimes you can be smart at one thing and really stupid in others.
