Gubernatorial hopeful Nikki Haley on Friday stuck by her denial of an affair between her and blogger Will Folks, and she continued to emphasize the political nature of his claim.
In her first public appearance in the Lowcountry since Folks' statement Monday that they had an "inappropriate physical relationship," Haley said once polls showed her leading the four-way GOP gubernatorial race, she expected her opponents to react.
"The unfortunate part was I wish they had just focused on policy, but I think they thought there was no way of stopping the train, so they decided to do this," she said on the WTMA-AM radio show "The Morning Buzz."

There’s no way, Folks is just blowin smoke for somebody and besides he’s all-world ugly. I mean that guy’s got a face that would stop a clock. If he weren’t so painful to look at the story might gain some traction.
It won’t hurt her unles he produces real evidence like an email or text or voice recording. IF he doesn’t then people should rightly shun him. That’s what they are doing now.

NO EVIDENCE has been provided YET that implicates Nikki Haley in this alleged “affair.” ONLY innuendo and rumor.
Nikki HAD my support — and now its stronger. The machine desparately wants to stop her. The Media terribly wants to destroy her. Even other “conservatives” want her gone...Why, I wonder?
It’s enough for me to contribute to Nikki, grab a yard sign, and a couple of bumper stickers, and watch what the spin machine will try next...
