American Conservative Union gives him a lifetime 83%, 90-91% in 2008 and 2009. Not perfect, but hardly a Liberal.
But, yes, Paul rates higher on the NTU rankings than in the Broad Conservative indexes, I'll agree with you on that. But that "single issue" that the NTU pushes is not unimportant -- that "single issue" is Fiscal Conservatism, lower taxes and lower spending and more streamlined regulation, across a whole bevy of Federal Departments and Programs!
That "single issue" is basically one of the three pillars of Reaganite Conservatism, and I believe that Ron Paul's high ratings for Fiscal Conservatism should be respected alongside DeMint's and Coburn's -- even while recognizing his 5-15% less-Conservative rankings on other issues. And acknowledging my disagreement with his positions on some of those issues; not all, but some.
All of which, I would say, certainly gives the lie to your claim that "Anyone who agrees with them only 99% of the time and deviates from Paul's views on a single bill is pond scum, but if Ron Paul agrees with us 75% of the time then "Reagan's 11th commandment" means we can't criticize what he does the other 25% of the time."
Such extreme hyperbole on your part against Paul supporters, arguably quite false at that, doesn't really do much to promote Conservative unity IMHO.
