WASHINGTON (AP) -- Rep. Joe Sestak says he spoke for less than minute with former President Bill Clinton about an appointment that was meant to keep the congressman out of the Pennsylvania Senate primary.
Sestak on Friday told reporters he never considered any position the White House was willing to offer in its attempt to ease the way for Sen. Arlen Specter in the Democratic primary.

B.J. “What do you want?”
Sestak “_____________”
B.J. “I’ll let him know.”
Sestak said job offer from someone in the white house...thats not a position frome someone connected to the white house...not the same at all.

Wait...he’s not saying a position wasn’t offered. He’s saying how long the convo for the offer took? That’s supposed to be a denial?
Anyone else see a similarity between William Jefferson Clinton and former President Logan on 24? This story is just too funny. He wouldn’t be setting up the Prez on his wife’s behalf would he. “When you make a deal with the devil, the saints will turn against you.”
I refuse to believe that that boorish jerk could say anything in under a minute. No one save Zero loves the sound of his own voice more than that guy.
All those promises about changing back room deals and now we have more proof that he’s a weasel that does anything to get what he wants. He thinks he is the almighty and can do as he pleases and can do nothing wrong.
So Slick Willy was the one who offered the job. Not the WHITE HOUSE as he’s been saying all along. These people are unreal. They expect the people to fall for this crap. And unfortunately, those who voted for zero will accept it as fact when they no better.

Exactly -- the first out of his mouth, he said he spoke with a White House official; Bill Clinton could in no way be described as such.
Ben Stein just made another supremely reasonable observation: Why did the WH get Bill Clinton to make this contact, if it was no innocent, "Everybody does it", why didn't someone in the WH just make the that contact?
He doesn't believe the story, his take is the very same as mine: the WH cooked this up. All signs point to it, including the phone call to the lawyer-brother. The more they try to convince me/us this is what happened, the deeper they are digging the hole.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. Sestak is digging his own grave, minute by minute, lie by lie.
