Just to let y’all know....the Post had a link beneath the word “revelations” in the final sentence posted above.
That link is now gone. In it, it said that Sestak replied that he was only interested in what was good for Pennsylvanians. It’s now been replaced with this:
“I said no,” Sestak wrote, adding that “the former President said he knew I’d say that and the conversation moved on to other subjects.”

“Moves on to other subjects”... like, “You have a nice cat. Sure would hate to see something happen to her? Doesn’t your daughter play at Ft Marcy Park playground? Doesn’t your son want to get into Annapolis?......”

Same thing just happened on Reuters. Here's what was in it originally. (Made sure to copy it first this time.) Now it's gone, replaced simply by the Clinton comment that "I knew you'd say that." The manipulation of the media is pathetic. I hope someone has the guts to print Sestak's full statement...or that Sestak has the guts to speak out. (Bet you don't think that's gonna happen!) In a written statement, Sestak said Clinton called him last summer to express concerns over his jumping into the Senate primary, "and the value of having me stay in the House of Representatives because of my military background." Sestak said he told Clinton that "my only consideration in getting into the Senate race ... was whether it was the right thing to do for Pennsylvania working families and not any offer. The former president said he knew I'd say that, and the conversation moved on to other subjects," Sestak said.
