A crashed F-14 and two dead aircrew are a good example of what happens when the military is dead-set on “proving” that a woman can do any job.

Hultgreen only killed herself, thankfully. The RIO, Lieutenant Matthew P. Klemish, punched out, suffered minor injuries and survived.
