Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) said Thursday that his brother has spoken with White House officials about the congressman's allegation that he was offered an Obama administration job if he would stay out of a Democratic Senate primary.
Sestak ran in, and won, that primary, defeating the White House's preferred candidate, Sen. Arlen Specter.
He told reporters Thursday that he would not expand upon his prior statements until the White House releases its report on the matter. President Obama said in his news conference that such a report would come "shortly."
Richard Sestak, the congressman's brother, who has served as his top political adviser and campaign lawyer, spoke with administration officials Wednesday, Joe Sestak said.
"They got a hold of my brother on his cell phone, and he spoke to the White House . . . about what's going to occur," said Sestak, who said he expects the White House will release its information Friday. He declined to elaborate on his discussions with Richard.

Don’t forget John Brennan’s inside man Leiutenant [real name spelled wrong, not a rank] Quarles who had begun cooperating with the FBI over the ‘passport break in’ case. Offed in front of a church. Must be a co-inkydink.
Nope. Pre-election for Zero- three gay guys from the Chi-town church, plus John Brennan’s inside man on the ‘passport break in’ case who was offed a couple of days after word leaked he was working with the Feds.
Cheney almost shot off a friends face, but hey, they’re still buddies.
REALLY? That Skip guy in the Bush WH got some time for the Valerie Plame non issue..didn’t he?
I hadn’t heard of those, but there doesn’t appear to be any connection to Obama similar to the deaths of those who were connected to Clinton; i.e. people who had information that could have put the Liar in Chief into jail.
But give him time...there are plenty of rumors about an Obama body count. It'll take time for names to emerge.
Ron Johnson is the real deal. He is us. Just wait, he’ll be national soon. Russ Feingold is going down. Keep your eye on him. He’s just a normal guy, made a boat load of money on his own, is fed up, and happens to have some cash to back him up. He got into the race 2 weeks ago, got 65% of the state GOP delegates A WEEK AGO to support him, Feingold has to be shaking. He never had a big majority. He barely won by a couple thousand votes. He’s not big in WI, we’re fighting Milwaukee and Madison. This year, it’s going to be different.
Obey bowed out.
Keep your eye on WI, we’ve never been blue, we’ve been red, two populous cities trashed our state.
