It is drilling mud. I don’t think BP would allow the rumors of them killing the well to persist if there were videos streaming around the world that said otherwise.
I hope you're right. I'm just trying to be certain this is new information, and not the same reports that have been around since early this morning.
If they pumped in 30,000 barrels of mud, and the drilled chamber only needs about 1300 barrels of mud to fill up, where did the other 28,700+ barrels of mud go in the last day? Did it leak out the riser?
