WASHINGTON — Arizona's new immigration law and similar proposals in other states would lead to an increase in crime, some police chiefs from around the country told Attorney General Eric Holder in an hourlong meeting Wednesday.
The chiefs told the attorney general that having to determine whether a person is in the United States illegally will break down the trust that police have built in communities and will divert law enforcement resources away from fighting crime.
If that happens, "we will be unable to do our jobs," said Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck. "Laws like this will actually increase crime, not decrease crime."
Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villasenor said the requirements of the new law are so burdensome that "we doubt the federal government can even handle the numbers of people we will bring to them" on immigration status.

New Mexico
Texas
Missouri
Oklahoma
Kansas
Nebraska
S Dakota
N Dakota
Montana
Wyoming
Idaho
Colorado
Utah
Nevada
Alaska
These states have the most in common & are contiguous, except for Alaska.
They can drill for their own oil, gas, etc.
They can mine for coal, gold, silver & titanium, etc
They can build their own power plants for their own energy use
They can use their own water for irrigation for food instead of swimming pools in cities or smelt in the Delta instead of farming with the water.
They can fish their own waters & use the fish as they wish.
They can hunt for food.
They can grow their own gardens.
They can patrol their own borders & keep illegals & other undesirables out.
They can carry their firearms as they wish.
The “Castle Doctrine” will apply.
They can have their own judicial system & hand out serious sentences. They can stop the extended appeals—hand out the death penalty & do it with publicity.
They can manufacture their own firearms & ammo for their own use. Reloading will be allowed.
They can restore the 2nd amendment to it’s rightful status.
They can eliminate welfare & other handouts. Work or be gone. Sink or swim. NO room for slackers. Elderly not included in above, but they cannot drag down the system.
NO EPA or anything like it.
Gangs NOT allowed- dead is preferable—in an unmarked grave. Hang them in the public square- let them be there for a week or so to get the message across to others.
NO drugs other than truly medicinal ones. Meth lab? Kill the bastards. Grow MJ? Burn the crop with the growers at the middle of the pile. Dowse them with gasoline & use them for kindling. Pedophiles? Sex offenders? Hang them also.
You cannot have a useful society if they are infected with drugs.
They can print their own textbooks & get back to basics to raise EMPLOYABLE young adults.
They can run schools that teach the truth & stop teaching 4 year olds about sex education. Teach the three “R’s”.
Churches need to be legit—not any “Tony Alamo” types or any “Rev Wright” types nor “Rev Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton types”. NO reason for mosques- they are the enemy of the lifestyle these states would support.
There would be strict TERM LIMITS on all those who are running the states & the central government.
Judges must have common sense & experience.
NO ‘affirmative action” & the problems it brings. Pass the required tests & do the job. That includes the highest office of the central government.
All of these states have military bases, which can be used by the new Western States. Military persons wishing to come there will be welcome, after screening to ascertain their skills & patriotism.
No land being held & controlled by the Feds—Nevada land is over 85% controlled by the Feds- & not a single dime of taxes is paid.
Ranchers will be allowed to graze cattle & sheep on open range that is now controlled by the Feds. Such grazing is the earliest method to control wildfires. Animals graze out the “ground fuels”that feed into “ladder fuels”.

These states will need good LEO’s.
If this happens, perhaps you can move instead of living with a senator like Al Franken & the Liberals in the Twin Cities. I was raised in Wisconsin, and I am more than sad to see what has happened to Wis & Minn with all the Liberals & their feel good crap.

Read them in order as best you can —makes more sense.

Excellent ideas. I would add several southern states to the list including S. Carolina, Alabama, MS, TN, LA &AK. This will be no place for slackers, but those not capable of taking care must have their families support them or if not, the community would come to their aid. I will check into the books.
