You talk about escaping to some place, “without tyranny”, and yet evil is in the heart of all men. That is the only point I was trying to make.

Yes. You can. Although it will always exist in the hearts of men it needn't be allowed to influence the lives of others unchallenged.
We learned valuable lessons from the old union and can take that knowledge and craft a new nation that can better weather the erosive nature of the darker side of human nature. It wont be perfect but nothing ever is, and one day our posterity will grow complacent and eventually allow tyranny to overwhelm them. Then it will be up to them to decide to let freedom die or do whats necessary to pass it down to another few generations.
