Whoopee!
The last time Obama had a formal press conference was the infamous 'cops acted stupidly' one on July 22, 2009.
He'll be taking questions starting (around) 12:45 p.m. EDT.
The Nation waits....
Rush should have fun with this...
He got word that the top kill of the oil leak worked.. of course he’s going to be front and center to claim success and how he was all over this from the beginning.
Wonder why he’s avoiding prime time?
(Rhetorical)
“The oil comanies acted stupidly- but I commanded them to fix it! Now it’s getting done. Thass what I’m talking about”
First comment from the One - “I plugged the hole.”
Blah blah blah ... foot on neck ... blah blah blah ... let me be clear ... blah blah blah ... inherited this problem ... blah blah blah ... Bush’s fault ... blah blah blah ... on our way to recovery ... blah blah blah
Maybe he’ll announce that the Top Kill is working so well, they are going to start using it on themselves.
Will ANY of them ask BO why he went on vacation in the Carolinas, took a couple of golf games in, and did a fundraiser while the Louisiana coastline was being assaulted by the oil leak from one of his main foreign-nation campaign contributors?
place holder because my stomach is not strong enough to watch or hear Hussein.
Will anyone ask about Obama’s $10 billion loan guarantee for Soros’ Petrobras to do ULTR-DEEP OCEAN DRILLING?????????????

Add firing MMS head...getting all his ducks in a row before the presser.
Heads Up.
The reply, "It's off the coast of Brazil. If a well blows down there, it's their problem. Better they experiment with the technology outside of the Gulf."
Things must be sinking very badly for the joker to show his face to the press.
Please have pity on us TV-deprived, and punctuate your commentary with descriptions of what’s going on......
Should we take bets on who gets the first question? I say it will be Chuck Todd or the brainless Twinkie who co-anchors with him on MSNBC.
