Live streaming video feed of top kill procedure
Looks like the stuff has hit the fan.
Clear as mud, to me.
Image certainly is not as clear as it was previously and now with large unidentified items swirling around.
I think it’s the mud they inserted being scattered around. IF they dropped it all they haven’t sealed the thing as yet, there definitely still is a plume coming through the mud.
We have no idea if it will hold...that is the key here. I will check again around 2 am.
Hope they can do it, it’s fascinating to watch and a monumental task. We will definitely learn from this and hope we move on. We need that resource.
The image is kind of Outer Limits creepy at the moment.
Maybe they have more mud to try but at the moment it sure looks like a plume is gushing through.
When you can see the plume it appears to be less forcful and less steady - sputts and bursts. Hopefully.....
There was a time where it looked like a a frame loop, but what I saw yesterday was black, this brown.
How cool is it to be able to sit in my captains chair in my home office at 10:15pm and watch a live feed from 5000ft below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico? Amazing.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this ‘top kill’ attempt will work!
Looks to me like it’s going guns a blazing, but it’s brown from the mud being blasted out of the way. Isn’t their a natural gas component? Could the gas come through without the oil?
Calling Red Adair!
As the song goes, “I can see clearly now, the plume is (not) gone”.
I THINK IT SI WORKING!!!
Or they have stopped pumping the mud.
I did see one of the Bot’s turning a wrench on a bolt,in a still photo, was very interesting.
How do you figure that?
I wish we could zoom in and out but, hey.
I guessing now that they have stopped pumping mud so the plume can now be seen clearly.
As I was watching the picture was becoming more clear and the plume looked smaller leading me to think that it may be working. (wishful thinking on my part)
