I used to eat a whole fresh baked french bread in one sitting when I was in my 20s and training for a marathon...along with a whole gallon of water and a couple bananas. This was AFTER running of course, not before.
Oh yeah. When I was playing college soccer, I could pack it away. The team used to have steak and eggs the morning of a game.
