Next thing I know, I flip back to the the live feed and this is what I see. I'm no expert but it doesn't look good to me.
Okay, trying to think “positive” here - given the lightness in color could it just be mud coming out from the kill fill?
Omgoodness, that looks awful. Does the camera make everything look bigger (hoping) than it really is?
When that was done, the next step would be to bury the hole in cement.
Wish the video showed the end of the pipe that we have been watching for weeks showing the oil plume. I think we might be able to tell if there is any diminishment of the flow of the black stuff.

I’m pretty “ignert” on this stuff, but it “seems like” this is a good thing. Obviously this is drilling mud (or some of it is) and this shows that the mud actually is making its way through the BOP. The diagrams indicated it would go in all directions when pumped in, including coming out of the cracks. It is also supposed to go down into the well and push the oil down since it is heavier (I think).
