“He is survived by his wife, Lois, whom he married in 1935.” Wow. Rest in peace, Art.

RIP. First of all, a wonderful man - warm, funny, principled. Next of all a great MC/entertainer. His talks with children are still classic, and no one enjoyed them more than Art Linkletter himself.

I'm old enough to remember when Mr. Linkletter's shows provided a great amount of entertainment in our home.

RIP.

I remember he brought the humor out in others with mild joshing, although as a teenage jerk I thought he was kinda corny. The hippies put him down, later I understood why. He was all-American, good to the bone. As years went on it made me glad that he lived on and on. Positive attitude, love for fellow man, finding the good in others, you can’t convince me that they don’t help you live a long happy life.
