If you feel compassion for the cows, why don't you go offer to help the Dairy Farmer, or buy the cows yourself and retire them to a life of ease.
Why does our compassion for one side have to result in the harm of the other side ?
That's like those meddling old ladies who see a harried mom with three kids try t o leave her kids in the car while she runs into the store for a quick errand. Instead of true compassion, which would simply go over to the car and watch the kids till the mom comes out; they call Social Services. Compassion that isn't. Real compassion helps both parties. What you are calling compassion is actually righteous narcissism.
Defending your own lack of understanding and compassion by calling me names won't change the facts in this case. The cows were harmed by sadist and the sadistic oafs have to face criminal charges.
