>> Those farmers who do care about cows should be horrified and demand action be taken, not jump to the defense of the indefensible.
The matter has already gone to the local prosecutor (who, interestingly, has not brought charges). What more action ought to be taken? Should we drive to Ohio and lynch the farmer, based on a video shot by a group with an axe to grind? What do you recommend?
If the evidence is genuine, then there is really no place in society for people who do this. Calculated and sadistic cruelty to animals, especially this extreme, is a very strong indicator of future calculated and sadistic cruelty to humans.
That people not give a knee-jerk defense denying that the scenes on the video could be or are real.
If you feel compassion for the defenseless cows - flood the local Sheriff’s department with phone calls, call the local paper, call the mayor - or - if you don’t think anything is wrong with the animal cruelty in the video -just forget about it and move on.
Impalement, and head on a pike at the ranch gates.
Releasing the video to the AP is good start. The company should be given a couple of days to sort things out before it fires the employees.
I grew up on a farm. I’m all about eating animals and such.
That guy is a sadist. He needs to be locked up. No discussion.
Nuke the site from orbit.
It's the only way to be sure.
