Not only are we Mexicans very nationalistic, our neighbor can be even more so. And the history between the two countries offers abundant proof of what occurs when the two identities collide with one another: Mexico and the United States start becoming even more distant countries. Nope. What happens is Mexico gets its ass kicked.

Carlos Slim is only this rich because he has government sanctioned monopolies in Mexico. Telecommunications on down the line.
He would have to compete over here with everyone else, which is why he has so few investments here.

It’s not you. As far as I’m concerned , Mexico declared war on us the day not long after 9/11 when their citizens stood against our soccer players screaming, “OSAMA, OSAMA!” Mexico votes against the US 67% of the time in the UN.
