To be honest, I have served with homosexuals, we knew who they were. If they were not caught in the act, it was not an issue. For the most part they were good at their jobs, they were good Sailors and yes good Marines. I know one Marine that was pretty tough, I would not have called him a fag to his face. If I remember correctly under DADT more females have been discharged than males. Officer will NOT be respected, Senior Enlisted who come out will not be respected, there will be fights, gay pride month and rainbow banners on bases. Chaplains will be order to conduct gay marriages and counsel gay couples or get out. I guess there will only be Episcopal and some Lutheran Chaplains.
