Its not a complicated problem. Secure the border. Enforce the law. The problem resolves itself in a very few short years.

The folks who are able to get legal papers will get them. The ones who can’t, will make the decision to go home.

I reached that conclusion years ago after listening to one too many political homilies.

I hear politically tinted sermons occasionally but thank God our Pastor is a patriot. He's firmly against Godless communism/socialism/open borders etc.

The story is BS because illegals are sticking aorund cause they get endless benefits including welfare, healthcare, soc security, food stamps and the list goes on and on.”

Governor Brewer of Arizona is starting to cross check outstanding warrants for illegals against all applicants & recipients of any kind of welfare/assistance.

Needs to happen everywhere.

Then, after finding all those with warrants—start doing E-Verify for every single welfare/assistance recipient in the entire country.

Again, an article leaves out that little qualifer "illegal". Now, why the big rush out if they're here legally? Why would someone hesitate to hire a legal immigrant? Details, details.

Mountaire Farms, which runs a large poultry-processing plant in Lumber Bridge, is said to have hired a contractor to supply immigrant workers from Burma and Thailand.

Boycott Mountaire Farms products.

Illegals working on Ft. Bragg and this doesn’t raise a red flag with our government?

Of course not - the government raised and proudly flies its own red flag for quite some time already.

Arizona is SO freaking awesome. The rest of the GOP should wake the F up.

We have been playing Defense since Bush’s cluless second term. Getting our teeth kicked in in 2008, Obamacare and on and on.

Jan Brewer and the AZ Repubs are on offense. They are INCREDIBLE. All Repubs in all states need to get with the program.

Get rid of the pro-amnesty RINOs.

Mexicans seem to be heading home - and some business owners miss them.

Those business owners should be fined and if they continue using ILLEGALS they should be put out of business! The rest of us seem to be able to hire legals!

Just like all the European immigrants bailed during the Great Depression.

Oh, wait...

There were plenty of stories during the housing crash how illegals had bought homes. The homes Americans wouldn’t buy i guess.

Tony Asion, former executive director of El Pueblo in Raleigh, said Mexicans have been historically underrepresented in the census

Mexicans are not U.S. citizens! Illegal immigrants should not be counted in the census.

“During a recent lunch break, a procession of black workers were seen walking from the plant to a nearby convenience store. Basurto said he is considering more Southern comfort food for his menu.”

Wow Southern cusine on the menu in North Carolina. What a novel concept.

North Carolina is now, in the major population centers, New Jersey/Pennsylvania south. “Suthners” have never been able to resist the Yankee onslaught in the form of tract homes and Whole Foods.

For the right, it’s about cheap labor and for the left, diversity. We are stuck on the twin horns of expediency and politics. However, it is too easy to make us feel guilty about illegals and this has caused a great deal of our problems.

I know a guy that owns a business involved with Mexicans wiring money home. He says business is down 80% in the past year.

Today I drove past the taxpayer funded “day labor” station and watched as a pimp (black) pimped out his whore (black) to a “day laborer” (mexican) that paid up and took her into the taxpayer funded men's restroom for a multicultural exchange. The other “day laborers” and the pimp sat around and grinned.

Ever since the taxpayer funded “light rail” was put in, the criminals now have easy access to the areas outside the city like the one where this “day labor” station is located. The city planners put this “day labor” station right between the light rail station and a retail area where I shop often.

With the light rail came the crime, which caused a need for more taxpayer funded cops to patrol the “strips of crime” adjacent to the light rail stops.

Like a good citizen, I dialed 911 and one of these fine young new cops arrived on the scene within three minutes and entered the men's restroom and came out with the whore and the “day laborer” in handcuffs. The pimp and many of the “day laborers” high-tailed it out of there.

How many crimes were committed here? How many of my tax dollars went into facilitating this hell on earth?

I am sick of it.
