I don't really watch Beck, I've run across it while channel hopping. I just knew the quote wasn't from the Bible, I haven't a clue whether Beck said it was or not. Most likely it was where the poster thought it was from, not Beck.
I didn't know who said it first so I googled and the oldest reference I found was Ben Franklin.
My post wasn't about anything Beck may or may not have said.
