Didier wins backing of Palin
Glory-days Redskins player Clint Didier has emerged as game-changer in the Senate race in Washington.
The two-time Super Bowl champion has received a key endorsement from former Alaska Gov. and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in a wide-open Republican primary for the seat of incumbent Democrat Patty Murray.
"It caught me a little off-guard," said Mr Didier, who has met Mrs. Palin only once, at a book signing in his home state. "But it was a welcome endorsement that really got me going. But as in football, a touchdown is not the end of the game. I have to keep going."
The endorsement puts Mr. Didier solidly within the class of 2010 that is running as non-establishment candidates and trying to oust incumbents.

I like Didier.
My favorite Redskin was Chris Hamburger (55). Linebacker.
I think Dexter Manley would lend much needed dignity to this august body.
Go Clint!
a farmer..

Every once in a blue moon an excellent candidate appears on the ballot, Clint Didier is just that candidate. Didier is running against Patty Murray for U.S. Senate as a Republican, but if you listen to his game plan and read about where he stands on issues you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find a truly independent thinker.
Didier is a hard-working farmer from Eastern Washington, well-educated, informed about the issues, a former NFL football player (with three Super Bowls under his belt), high school football coach, owns a small excavation business, served eight years on the WA State Farm Service Agency Committee and an all-around honest man with integrity.
Didier still recognizes the Constitution and what the founders of this country intended when they wrote it. He believes in reigning in our runaway government and binding our national government within the confines of its Constitutional authority. Didier has chosen these three words as the basis of his campaign; “We the People.”
At a time when so many Americans are fed up with our government overstepping its boundaries, out of control spending, taxing the people and spending way too much time arguing instead of running our country the way it was originally intended, it’s nice to see a man like Didier step up to the plate to try right those wrongs. He is not a career politician and he doesn’t want to be. Didier just wants to get our country back on track and leave it in good shape for future generations.
If you are interested in learning more about Clint Didier and his run for U.S. Senate please visit his website where you can read more about his background and where he stands on the issues. If Americans want change they must take a stand for what is right, support good candidates and VOTE in November so those candidates can start voting the will of the people they represent. I believe Clint Didier is the right man for the job.

Yea there is a rumor that Rossi hired a strategist who is working for Rubio. There was a “no comment” made.
“Chris Hamburger”
...I think its “Han”. My favorite was/is Dave Butts.
True, since not so long ago, he could barely read or write.
Rumors also DeMint will back Rossi.
Didier, the proto-type of the moder Tight End. Hope he wins, a great player and a great Redskin. Mark Bravaro modeled his entire career on Didier.
any of ‘em but Heath Shuler
Why would he do that? Endorse someone else?
Didier ping!
I think Dexter Manley would lend much needed dignity to this august body.
Manley cannot read, so he should at least fit right in with the Senate
From what I’ve read here on FR, DeMint and Rossi have ties. No ones perfect, though, and I certainly won’t fault Jim if he decides to endorse Rossi. Won’t affect my opinion of him.
Dexter’s signature comment: “Dexter goan ring his clock.” A functional illiterate from Oklahoma State.
I’m not ready to accept DeMint as the kingmaker yet. Splitting the GOP vote in an area where we just might have a good showing, is the type of “one step forward, two steps back” tack the GOP has consistently taken; they found a target or wanted to frame a debate, took careful aim, and proceeded to shoot themselves in the foot..
Thing is, for his illiteracy, his philandering, and other human failings, he IS more dignified than half of the current sitting senators.
And for the record, that label, King maker, is loathsome. Its too Obamaesque to apply to anyone in the GOP (though there was an article posted calling DeMint the King maker).
