ALBANY - Attorney General Andrew Cuomo slapped a subpoena on ex-GOP gubernatorial candidate John Faso in his probe of a massive pay-to-play pension fund scandal, the Daily News has learned.
...
The timing of the subpoenas raised some eyebrows by coming just a month after a political action committee co-founded by Faso released an ad attacking Cuomo.

Or perhaps it is John Faso's endoresement of and assistance to Chris Gibaon's campaign to unseat the Democtrat Scott Murphy in NY20.
In either case, it seems like an abuse - using the coercive power of government and the office of AG to attack political foes. It almost makes you wonder whether AG's should be allowed to run for another office while presently acting as AG. Add Spitzer and Blumenthal to the list of sleazy AG ladder climbers.
Faso’s organization has been hammering Cuomo over his failure to investigate the Working Families Party.
This really smells of police-state payback.

Bebe Cuomo was a sleazy dirtbag in the long tradition of Spitzer and Blumenthal abusing their power with an arrogant disregard for truth.
If this turns out to be a bogus charge instigated by Cuomo then he should be impeached. A scandalous abuse of power.
This men never really impressed me.
Has everyone forgotten why his father lost the governorship to the lackluster and forgettable George Pataki? The endless ego of someone who thought he had the answer to all the worlds problems but couldn't fix New York's? Why would Andrwe be any better?
