Finally a house win, albeit a plurality win. 39.5. I was hoping he’d crack 40%
He’s now the second most vulnerable GOP congressional incumbent after Cao in New Orleans. Unlike Cao though it’s possible he can win a full term.
What’s this, Colleen Hanabusa the choice of the Hawaii Senators Tweedledan and Tweedledanno beat the Haole (white guy) Ed Case the choice of Obama and the DCCC? They wanted her to drop out and she got more votes than Case. LOL.
Yeah, the good guy finally bagged one and there are 4 months ahead with Case and Hanabusa participating in the equivalent of a WWF match. Bring on the popcorn. Bet Case gets a phone call from the same WH phantom that called Sestak.
Re: NV 3. Does Heck still look like a shoo-in. We were alerted to a youtube ad by Ed Bridges critical of Heck with Bridges claiming to be the “true conservative” in the race. Just wanted you take on whether there’s any significant movement in this race.
Everything I read says Heck is the likely nominee and polls well against the rat. I won’t rule out a surprise that what happened to Mary Beth Buchanan.
I have a lot of respect for Bridges. There’s been a proposed nuclear waste repository (Yucca Mountain) in Nevada for years. But due to local opposition it still isn’t and may never be in operation. Nevada democrats especially are rabidly against it and constantly fear monger on the issue. They hoped it would help them in the 2002 and 2004 elections (it didn’t). Anyway unlike most Nevada pols Bridges wants Yucca Mountain up and running to bring needed jobs.
