Nothing particularly controversial in that speech just Obama’s inability (or unwillingness?) to recognize the Islamic roots of planet-wide terrorism.

It's just an unfortunate misunderstanding that somehow has gone on for fourteen centuries. I'm sure we could get everybody together for a beer in the Rose Garden and clear this whole thing up.

True, true.
But the problem is, when Obama says (reads) something that I know is true and sounds correct, or when he says (reads) something that is actually good for America, then I KNOW he is lying because HE does not actually believe it, nor will he ever actually do what he is promising.

On the other hand, when he IS saying (er, reading) something that he DOES believe and WILL actually do, then he has to be lying because he cannot be truthful to the public. Not if he is ever to get his agenda of destroying American capitalism and freedoms.
