I found this very refreshing. Finally some reasoned common sense in the face of "well intentioned" political idiocy. Do you think Campbell or Fiorina would ever respond like this? I don't think so.

He did well. I agree that we don’t need additional laws to cover texting. Texting should fall under whatever law covers watching movies or reading the newspaper while driving.
It’s silly to pass more laws for the sake of passing laws.... I think too many politicians do it just to make a name for themselves and to that they’ve done something when all they do is add bloat.
