Everything 0 is talking about is tied into the UN. Last weekend, thanks to Beck’s request for information on Maurice Strong, I spent a lot of nauseating, frightening hours coming to the realization that at least since the early 80s the forces of wealth and power have been working with the UN to completely globalize EVERYTHING using climate change as the unifying doctrine. Start with a guy named George Hunt who out of curiosity managed to get into the the World Wilderness Congress of 1987 and listened to Maurice Strong with I.Michael Sweatman and Edmund de Rothschild talk about the establishment of the World Conservation Bank which is now called the Global Environment Facility and works hand in glove with the World Bank, the Bank for Internation Settlements, and the International Montetary Fund. Check out Hunt’s videos—The Big Bad Bank. Check out the organizations that are funded by and tied in with GEF and then what organizations are linked to those—it’s a never-ending abyss of socialism. Realize that a senior US Treasury Department official, William Pizer, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environment and Energy, is a sitting council member of GEF. When 0 talks about globalism and sustainable development, it’s all tied into climate change and global redistribution of wealth and the establishment of an unbelievablly wealthy and powerful RULING elite, and all under the auspices of the UN. Everytime they hold their panels, and summits, and whatever, they are moving it further ahead and we are almost completely unaware of what they are up to. This is not a theory but fact and when you start to look at these things they all converge and make sense. Welcome to 0,s vision of a “new international order”.

You pointed out a few other organizations, as well. The globalist planners aren't putting all of their eggs in one basket. If the UN disappears, progress toward globalist rule won't be much setback, if at all. Besides energy/climate, see use planning (zoning).

I think the vast bulk of action is outside view of the public. Not hidden, but not reported. And the plans turn into legislation very late in the life cycle.

As I have said on FR before, I was brought up to think that those who believe in conspiracy theories needed their tin foil hat adjusted. However, I have had too much unplanned vacation time during which I have done research on the net. Too many things that I saw happening, were not making sense to me.

I came at the NWO from the perspective of CFR, Trilateral COmmission, and Bildeberg group. Amazingly everything is being done hidden in plain sight. McCarthy, Goldwater, and Birch were correct.

Suddenly many disparate things fit in like pieces of a puzzle: borders like sieves; flooding the country with illegals, legal immigrants from third world countries, and guest workers; political correctness; multi-culturalism; denigrating judeo-christian values and those who founded this country; moral equivalence; the destruction of the middle class; 'dial 1 for English'; etc.

Once I had expected a conspiracy to be a neat, tidy plan following logical steps. However, as you pointed out in post # 112, "And when things happen to sidetrack their plans, like Climategate last fall, they just adjust the plan and wait till they think everyone has forgotten and then carry on". It's a lot to absorb, and a lot to deal with.
