Expectations Game!
At first I thought this was an article about a special election being held in ... Kenya. (haha)
I didn’t know they had elections in Kenya......
Are they sure it is his birth place? My understanding is that that issue is not resolved.
Let’s win it first. A week ago people were speculating on how the Democrats would spin losing Murtha’s old seat.
“loss of a House seat Saturday in President Obama’s birthplace” ..... Since when is there a rep from Kenya in the U.S. House of Representatives?
in President Obama’s birthplace of Hawaii,

Really?...How does the Washington Post know? Have they seen Obama’s birth certificate?
The WaPo is playing expectation games here. I don’t see a Republican taking this seat, Neil Abercrombie is practically a Communist and was re-elected a zillion times.
“I wonder how msnbc and cnn will spin their/the Dems expected loss in Hawaii?”
Good thing the Rats don’t hold a seat in Mombasa Kenya. It would be embarrassing to lose in Obama’s birthplace.
I will tell you how...they will marginalize the victory by saying the real contest is in November when the true test will be on Democrats and Obama. So far all they say is Republicans are only capable of winning in off year special elections when nobody is paying attention.
This seat is only good for 5 months. Do you really expect a Republican in Hawaii to win in November when everyone else is on the ballot?
“Do you really expect a Republican in Hawaii to win in November when everyone else is on the ballot?”
Normally, no I wouldn’t, but Charles Djou is a very popular Repub politician, just like Linda Lingle. I know he’s a moderate/liberal, but it will be nice to see an R represent this district.
Good point.
What? Someone’s running in Kenya?
Of course they do. Kenya is one of the 57 or 58 states and our constitution guarantees a republican form of government after all.
Our government always follow the constitution to the letter you know.
Nope, that usurper was born in Kenya, fake birth certificate not withstanding.
dam right, obozo said there was 57 right?
