Does the guy who replaced Murtha have to re-run for the office again in November?

House members only have 2 year terms, so is this just an 8 month fill-in so that votes for Pennsylvaniz are in the mix?

Need clrification here, please. Discussion at this end doesn’t have an answer.

It’s a short term replacement; there will be a rematch for Murtha’s seat in eight months.

Mark Critz (D) will finish out Murtha's term, serving until January 2011. But Critz and Tim Burns (R), besting opponents on Tuesday in party primaries, will face each other again in November 2010 for a full two-year term.
