Because 2 days ago he was at -19 and the only thing he has done since then is demean Arizona with Mexico’s President, party, not talk to the press, Tennessee is underwater, Oil Spill is a huge mess, job claims are up again, dow is down again. I could go on but ..... all of this is unexpected an Bush’s fault

The way people poll is funny. He’s usually at a higher negative during the week. As the weekend approaches his numbers get better. As far as I’m concerned just as long as his numbers are in double digit numbers I have hope for November.

Relax brother, it’s statistical noise.

Because 2 days ago he was at -19

When the numbers are that low, it's his base that's upset with him.

The fact that he's berating AZ, etc. actually brings those numbers up.

The reason he was at -19 the other day was because the left was mad at him over his inaction at going after BP and the link they made to his taking BP campaign money. Check out DU next time he goes that low again. The headlines there will show that they're upset at the White House.

Oh, yeah. The -19 was also after the election results. The far left were depressed about that too.

Oil Spill is a huge mess, job claims are up again, dow is down again. I could go on but ..... all of this is unexpected an Bush’s fault

IIRC, BEFORE Katrina hit, Bush mobilized relief efforts to right outside the expected damaged areas. Katrina veered east, and those relief convoys were moved to the damaged areas. While enroute, the levees let loose. Now, convoys making there way east, had to turn around, and go back to NOLA. Meanwhile, noone from Louisiana did anything for there own people.

Bush had things ready. His response was already waiting. He implemented what he could. And yet he is still blamed for everything that went wrong with Katrina.

Compare that to Obama, and the BP mess. Obama has done NOTHING (except what he does best-TALKTALKTALKTALKTALKTALKTALK) He puts together a group of scientists, who have no experience with oil rigs, to discuss what to do (more talking).

And yet the MSM is silent on Obamas Katrina.

They're silent on Obama and the Tennessee flooding.

They were silent on the Kentucky ice storm that left thousands without power in January, last year, while Obama has a SuperBowl party with $100 a pound Waygu beef, and $300 a bottle Krystal champagne.

There is a cyclic element in the Rassmussen poll. It varies about 6 points or so over a period of two weeks more or less. So you need to watch the relative minimum and max to interpret what is happening. The testing of -19 for the first time since the passage of ObamaCare is significant in the extreme because it says that Obama's base is becoming disappointed again. Or at least the folks who were hopeful that ObamaCare was going to actually be a good thing for them.

Ultimately, I believe this new trend is based on the Arizona blunder that Obama has walked into and keeps cluelessly hammering on. This is kryptonite.

Today's -15 doesn't say anything definitive but it implies that the current cycle peak will be below -10 and most likely -12 or lower. Perhaps a more or less permanent net -2 point loss this last week.
